Treecreeper (Certhia familiaris)
I captured this lovely little Treecreeper in the same woods I got the clip of the Wren a few posts ago.
Kennel Woods is in the village of Sandiway where I spent my childhood.
Visits bring back some lovely memories...
Climbing trees, hide and seek, my first proper kiss (aged 10) lol.
I had heard the woods had been put on sale and that the local parish council were raising funds to buy them for the village so I was quite surprised to see a for sale sign on Kennel Lane.

A gate has been erected alongside which is a bit daft as you can pass either side of it.
I need to investigate to find out whats going on.
Hi Andrew ..They are so tiny and funny little guys... and extremely active birds aren't they ... lol
ReplyDeleteOf course he decided to move when you video ended!! lol
Hope you find out whats up with that for sale stuff and ... hmmmm a proper kiss??? the word proper I noticed is used frequently there...

ReplyDeleteBrilliant shots of the Treecreeper. Andrew, please let me know what is going on to the woods, I thought that the government said they wouldn't sell it off.
