Treecreeper.............................. just tree creeping

Treecreeper (Certhia familiaris)

I captured this lovely little Treecreeper in the same woods I got the clip of the Wren a few posts ago.
Kennel Woods is in the village of Sandiway where I spent my childhood.
Visits bring back some lovely memories...
Climbing trees, hide and seek, my first proper kiss (aged 10) lol.
I had heard the woods had been put on sale and that the local parish council were raising funds to buy them for the village so I was quite surprised to see a for sale sign on Kennel Lane.
A gate has been erected alongside which is a bit daft as you can pass either side of it.
I need to investigate to find out whats going on.

Brilliant shots of the Treecreeper. Andrew, please let me know what is going on to the woods, I thought that the government said they wouldn't sell it off.

There's nothing like happy childhood memories, Andrew. I hope Kennel Woods is retained so others can have similar experiences.

That's a lovely shot!
I only have a blurry featherball as proof that I've seen one ;)
Hope they don't ruin another piece of beautiful nature :(

Nothing good lasts forever, it's a shame! Cute climber bird.

What an elegant little bird. I do hope that the wood has been sold to someone suitable.
