All fed and watered........@ Moore Nature Reserve

I had a visit to Moore NR earlier in the week.
A lovely warm summers day and the birds at Birchwood Pool were all partaking in refreshment.

I spent a lovely couple of hours just watching..... very relaxing.

"I have to smile as I post this the rain is coming down in bucket loads"

  10. Great little video Andrew. I was not ready for it to end! Such a variety of bird life. I wasn't sure the goose was going to get back upright. Preening can look rather silly too. You should have your own cable channel!

  12. Great video, Andrew! Very entertaining, the little moorhen chicks crossing the pond one at a time, the swan grooming his underside.... priceless!

  13. I thoroughly enjoyed the video... so many different birds and so much activity! I'm wondering if you can help with a bird ID for one of the birds I saw in Sweden recently (which is featured in your video, I think). I'm number 36 in the WBW meme and you'll see what I mean if you check my post.... it's the gray and white bird in the lower left of the collage of birds of Sweden... not sure if it is the same as the one I saw in your video or not!
