The weather has been lovely this morning... sunshine and clear blue skies.
The autumn leaves really stood out in the sunshine... a welcome change after two weeks of wet weather.
My neighbours have some beautiful trees...but this one is growing wild in the car park outside my front door.
It's one of a few that have grown from seedlings that nobody bothered with over the years... the houses are over 30 years old now so they are quite mature.

The Rowan in my garden is laden with berries... food for the winter thrushes.
There is a bigger one next to the tree in the last images... and the birds all love it.
I've not had many birds on the feeders this morning but quite a few Blue Tits were feeding in the bushes.
It's not been a bad morning at all...
...considering this has been my usual view for the last couple of weeks.

Great colors! We had our first snow of the year today. I think I may have missed the colors.

oh no on the view from your window..
At least you got some autumn colour without getting soaked. It's warm enough but Indian summer is no good this year. We need a hard frost.
You must be still laid up. Nothing worse.
I say again get one of Bob's electric carts. Get bumpers on it. Whilst in Keswick a Doolally old lady ran over the dogs lead and then backed up over my foot. I did remonstrate but she had the answer.
I never learnt to drive. She still hadn't.
Spectacular Autumn colors and so great energy! Amazing pictures, I specially love the little bird!Cute!

HI Andrew Yes it has been wonderful blue skies and warm here also today. great autumn shots and great photo of Blue Tit. Boy is that some rain!! Pity the laugh had not happened on the rainy days!!!!
I love the Blue tits...have many of them in the garden but am not feeding yet.I will wait until the weather gets colder. Lovely colors in your garden.
its been almost tropical today hasn't it.... got to laugh at your rain laden window, if you don't you just get the winter depression.
Lovely post Andrew.
I had a Chiffchaff in the garden today :)
The Autumn colours from your garden

A lovely post, so many details to study closer!
Lovely autumn colours!
Great photos.
Wonderful autumn colors and great garden :-)
Greetings.
Simply beautiful colors! We don't have much in the way of autumn colors here in Florida.
isn't it great those beautiful days of Autumn like this? It is my favourite time of year here, Autumn seems to go on forever before the real cold sets in, and of course that's nothing like your real-cold. Beautiful photos again; a treat.
You had a nice day as well, love them, especially the leaves, superb.
Great fall colors there...just now getting some COLD frosty nights here!!
Beautiful images, as always, especially with those blue skies.
Good to see sunshine and bright colors for you.
I have a very similar scene out of my window - and I mean rain, not autumn!
Nice pictures.

I have been having computer problems all summer so stayed off. Am so glad to be posting again. Rain or shine your photos are always of interest to me.
