Autumn colours from my garden.......................................................................

The weather has been lovely this morning... sunshine and clear blue skies.

The autumn leaves really stood out in the sunshine... a welcome change after two weeks of wet weather.

My neighbours have some beautiful trees...but this one is growing wild in the car park outside my front door.
It's one of a few that have grown from seedlings that nobody bothered with over the years... the houses are over 30 years old now so they are quite mature.

The Rowan in my garden is laden with berries... food for the winter thrushes.
There is a bigger one next to the tree in the last images... and the birds all love it.

I've not had many birds on the feeders this morning but quite a few Blue Tits were feeding in the bushes.

It's not been a bad morning at all...
...considering this has been my usual view for the last couple of weeks.

Great colors! We had our first snow of the year today. I think I may have missed the colors.

At least you got some autumn colour without getting soaked. It's warm enough but Indian summer is no good this year. We need a hard frost.
You must be still laid up. Nothing worse.
I say again get one of Bob's electric carts. Get bumpers on it. Whilst in Keswick a Doolally old lady ran over the dogs lead and then backed up over my foot. I did remonstrate but she had the answer.
I never learnt to drive. She still hadn't.

its been almost tropical today hasn't it.... got to laugh at your rain laden window, if you don't you just get the winter depression.

Lovely post Andrew.

Simply beautiful colors! We don't have much in the way of autumn colors here in Florida.

isn't it great those beautiful days of Autumn like this? It is my favourite time of year here, Autumn seems to go on forever before the real cold sets in, and of course that's nothing like your real-cold. Beautiful photos again; a treat.

I have a very similar scene out of my window - and I mean rain, not autumn!

Nice pictures.
