That squirrel keeps going up the pole to fetch his/her dinner, but, trying is a part he doesn't like it. Good for the Long-tailed Tits, they are munching away at the new feeder.
nice post Andrew. A couple of days ago I had 8 LTTs visit... very nice. On the downside I am now having trouble with the squirrels ripping up the lawn.... they have always been in the garden but this is a new problem for me now.
Wonderful shots of the birds. The squirrel shot is so cute. They are fun to watch when they are trying to get at the bird feeders. They are persistent little critters.
And your bird captures are delicious. Now, tell me....did you make these feeders?!! I think the idea is ingenious. I'm gonna see if Bud will make me some like that.
Thanks for linking up at the Bird D'Pot this weekend.

Very true Andrew, they are lovely little birds, my wifes' favourite, known affectionately as 'badger birds'.

Always love to see your garden birds, and you do get the best pictures of those invading squirrels. No way around it, is there?
