A rainy morning but at least the new bird feeder was still in place...
...to my surprise... and by it's look the Robins as well.
I still have plenty of blooms in my garden...
...and as I had placed the new feeder nearer the house I have hung the fuchsia on the old post.
It appears the squirrel hasn't quite worked that one out... re: bushy tail centre left.
I have always struggled to get good shots of Coal Tit's...
...but they really seem to be enjoying the new seed feeder.
...and don't seem to be in their normal rush... even taking time out to pose.
I am still laid up with my sore leg which I have to keep raised most of the time... and am very very bored.

great shots. hope you feel back to your old (not saying you are old here, just so you know. giggles!) self again real soon. (:
I hope the birds help to alleviate the boredom a bit Andrew.
Lovely shots of the Coal Tit.
At least you have the views of your lovely garden to reduce the boredom Andrew and you have now conquered getting a good shot of a Coal Tit!

The new feeder seems to be lasting well Andrew...two days and counting!!...lol.
I hope you're back to full mobility and are able to chase after that pesky squirrel again soon!

Great birds and beautiful flowers. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada
The bottle feeder is doing the job, I would be dying of boredom if I could not to go out on my scooter.
Great shot of the Coal Tit giving you a good look! Hope the leg improves soon.
I'd be climbing the walls if I had a bad leg - well obviously not ACTUALLY climbing the walls! Good job you've got your garden activities to keep you entertained to some degree - much better than TV - would rather watch the birds any day - I've had a cute little coal tit in my garden over the last few days and a goldfinch and greenfinch, so finally getting a wider variety - as much as I love sparrows it's nice to have a bit more of a variety in the garden - take care, and hope you are soon up and about with that leg!

sounds like you're doing what has to be done for your leg Drew but in the meantime your at home photography is working well and your blogging too. Genteel pursuits I'd say. Glad the new feeders are holding up and lovely photographs (I also love fuschias) of the coal-tit.
Great Andrew ... and flowers are beautiful.
Have a nice weekend.
Greetings.
I'd say the bird feeder is a huge success Andrew by the look of your gorgeous guests, I have a feeling your garden would be an 'English garden' delight also!
Glad the birds are loving your new feeder. Great shots! I hope you are feeling better soon!
Wonderful shots of your feeder birds -- I'm glad you can see them from your chair and glad you have your camera nearby. I really enjoyed catching up on your posts today -- it was too bad about the two birds that were injured/sick and I hope they are OK....all of your other pictures (and I was about ten posts behind) just made me smile.
Get well soon!
So cute--love your polite little bird.
