Coal Tit... a little bird in a hurry............ and summer has arrived in my garden

Another quick post as free time is short at the moment.
My commute to work is a round trip of around 60 miles... then it's another 14 mile (both ways) trip in the opposite direction to visit my Mum in hospital... she is doing really well by the way.

I have been lucky to have Coal Tit's in my garden for a few years now... and they are so quick it's hard to capture them with the camera.

This image shows just how fast they beat their wings... I almost got his face in focus.

I am actually getting some sunshine in the garden at the moment...

...and it's nice to see the birds admiring my roses.

 ...and my wonderful hospitality...

  13. Hi there - nice pictures of the Coal Tit.

I tried taking pictures of these many years ago with a very long shutter release cable - when the prints came back (see it was a long time ago!) all I had were pictures of swinging bird feeders!
