I had hoped to share the clouds I saw on my journey home from work last night.
Well tonight's sky was just a touch better... a cloud in the right place at the right time.
I had just crossed the M6 motorway on the lovely country lane I use every day.
I had just crossed the M6 motorway on the lovely country lane I use every day.
This tree had featured on my blog before.... swaying in the wind last autumn.
It will have stood here ever since the days of black and white photos.
These images were taken with my little five year old Casio point and shoot.
Brill Andrew. And in b&w too.

That first photo is spectacular Drew; the lighting 'just right' with that beautiful tree set against the low cloud. Wow you got lucky! You were like a boy scout and remembered the "Be prepared" motto.

ReplyDeletePerfect..absolutely perfect!
ReplyDeleteBut if it were me...
I would be sitting under that tree
on a blanket, with a glass of wine in one hand, watching the clouds roll by.
Wondering what it would be like to be a bird soaring high into the clouds, weaving in and out of them as they float across the sky.
Yep, I'm a dreamer!
The best part is the way you composed this shot, with the lone tree against the cloud. Great job!!
ReplyDeleteA great shot, love the shape of that tree, and of course the cloud behind it. I think I would have stopped to get a shot too.
