Just a bit of fun... the same image rotated...
...which way is up and which way is down
It's not difficult if you have been following my posts... or is it?
...blame John from Sinbad and I for giving me the idea.

I think the second shot is the 'real' one. (or is it?) Afraid I haven't been following your post!
ReplyDeletehmmm. I dont fancy guessing, incase i make myself look like a complete burk... nice image though Andrew
ReplyDeleteThe top one is upside down. You can tell as the reflection is always darker.
ReplyDeleteLove these shots. Excellent work with the reflection pieces. I'm going to say the top.
ReplyDeleteExcellent photo(s) Andrew!
ReplyDeleteI am going to plump for the top one being the `true` picture.

HI Andrew...I think it is the second one, because of the way the sun is shining on the banking!
ReplyDeleteAnd I think I could be wrong lol ; }
Either way it is a lovely reflection photo!!
Gracexx
the result is perfect Andrew and when we get the forwards/slide-shows of wonderful photographics you can't help but question some of those reflective scenes can you? Especially now you've done this so expertly; great result and lovely scene.
ReplyDeleteOh my, look what I started. (:0)) I am enjoying the responses though. Fun stuff Andrew.
ReplyDeleteHave to say first that these are amazing and great capture. My vote is for the second being the "right side up one". Hope you let us know!
ReplyDeleteSecond shot is the right side up.
ReplyDeleteOY! you two are too dangerous together! good thing you're an ocean and a country apart!
ReplyDeleteOutstanding images! I haven't a guess, each time I do, I change my mind.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea, I think I figured it out but I had to look very carefully.
ReplyDeleteOh, clever test. I'll say the second, but it is tough!
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to do. You can get some pretty interesting results...this one is cool.
ReplyDeleteI'm going with the second one and it's terrific!!!
ReplyDeleteI am batting ZERO. I just cannot tell. YOu met let us know so we won’t fret all week. That John...he has all kinds of tricks up his sleeve. The photo is awesome. genie
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog...... You have a very fun image set and idea here! The second is the reflection because, as someone else has stated, reflections are always darker. There is always light absorption on water or glass of a stop or 2. Great job!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Very cool, Andrew! It would be difficult to tell without the two photos together.
ReplyDeleteSuperb post, Andrew! I reckon the second is the proper one:)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, love the reflections.
ReplyDeleteI go for the second one.
Have a great day :O)
great idea and it works either way. still beautiful upside down or right side up.
ReplyDeleteone of my blog friends in the Yukon, had one similar to this one and the ones in your other post and she called them natures EKG.
ReplyDeleteThats cool, can't goess though cause i already read the answer ;0)
ReplyDeleteVery tricky. I'm going to go with the first one.
ReplyDeleteYou guys have entirely too much fun! I love these but have no idea which is which, they're both beautiful and I love them both as always, Andrew! Hope you have a great weekend and I'm already looking forward to what you'll have next week!!

Hi Andrew, I love the reflections. Beautiful captures. So hard to tell which way is up, well done!
ReplyDeleteReturning to blogland after a long break to a photographic riddle. New to your posts, but I will plump for the 2nd being the right way up, by the contrasting colour. Beautifully taken shot.
ReplyDeleteI think the top one is wrong!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteRolling on floor laughing....which way is up you ask? Loved your post this week.

Splendid - I'll pick the second as being the correct way up
ReplyDeleteStewart M - Australia
