Which way is up?..................................................................... the reveal

Many thanks for all your lovely comments about yesterdays post.
The answer to the question is...... the second image.
Shown again below.

It was wonderful to see after the high winds we had a week ago.

Another view of the pool I took during a lovely walk... with not a breath of wind in the air.
I took loads of images all around this little pond... a relic from Andertons industrial past.

  1. I always love taking photos of reflections on the water. They always turn out great.

  2. Beautiful. I can't believe you were only a few miles away - it was quite breezy here on the Wirral. You would have stood no chance of getting such good reflections in Pensby (not that I've got a pool to match any way!)

  6. Gosh those reflections are gorgeous, and I enjoyed your other post with the photos of the Long-tailed Tit and the squirrel. Such a pretty bird and I see the squirrels are as rascally as they are here.

  11. It is interesting as someone noted yesterday, the colors are always darker, I say richer, in the reflection. The water must absorb ultraviolet of something.

  12. I agree with Sinbad ... it always does look richer in the water. Beautiful!
