Long-tailed Tits.................................... the cutest little bird I get in my garden

I went back to Shakerley Mere this afternoon... somebody really does love the birds.
There was bird seed on every level surface by the car park... wonderful to see.

 A small pile on the bench... this is where I took my images of the Robins a couple of weeks ago.
I don't know why I haven't shared it before.

 ...seed had also been placed in little piles on top of the gate.

Sorry I have to interrupt this post... as I am writing a Long-tailed Tit has just tapped on my window.
I have a lovely little white Goose to share... beautiful blue eyes... you will have to wait until tomorrow.

I have seen these all afternoon on my walk around Shakereley Mere.... but from a distance.

To see them up close in my garden has made my day.

As cute as you can get... with such a tiny little beak.


 I will never tire of seeing these wonderful little birds.

Long-tailed Tit (Aegithalos caudatus)

This little Blue Tit was also enjoying my hospitality... I have a nest box... fingers crossed.

    The only bird in the Tit family we have here is the Black Cap Chick a Dee. There are one or 2 other Chick a Dee in Alberta but not around Edmonton.

    The sculptured fish bench is wonderful! Yes lovely to see others are caring for the birds too; it’s a heartening touch of humanity. Beautiful l.t.tit – they’re divine and the weeniest little beak!! Wouldn’t that just be the icing on the cake if the they chose your garden to nest in.

    What a little cutie, his beak is so tiny, looking staight at him it looks like he has none! I can see why you like them so much, I would be excited also.

    What a great serie you showing us! I really love them and they are also to see in our gardens in the Netherlands and the Long-tailed Tit (dutch name: Staartmees) and the other one we call him Pimpelmees... both are so beautiful and i love the colors of them and they are so tiny... ;-))

    I remember that bench fom the days about ten years ago when I used to take my late parents to sit by the mere.

    We had he Long-tailed Tits pass throughb the other day they rarely stay for long.
