The nearest place to park the car to wander around my local woodlands has free parking
A bit of a rarity in the UK ..... this is where I park when visiting Haydn's Pool.

The footpath during Spring.
Autumn.
...and frozen in Winter.
My goal... Haydn's Pool is a wonderful place to visit, relax and just watch wildlife.
I can (and do) spend hours here.... just chilling.
Andrew, this is a delightful collection and your header is just too, too beautiful for words!
ReplyDelete"Oh, to be in England .... " (anytime). Thanks for sharing, have a great weekend.
That last capture is really good- a combination of a weak sun and the reflection. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteI'd love places like this. Awesome sight! Thanks for sharing Andrew!

just the place to unwind; doesn't 'time' get away so easily. Great series; that icey path would be dangerous I'd expect. Do you walk it with special shoes or keep to the verges...? Or simply don't walk there?
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures!
ReplyDeleteThat was neat seeing the same scene during each of the four seasons. It must have taken you a year to do that! (;^))
ReplyDeletei like that you have chosen to photograph the path that you take to get to you final destination. When taking that photo in spring you must have though...... oh well only 12 months to go.

How great that you did the path through the seasons. I keep thinking to do that, but always seem to miss one! Haydn's Pool looks just lovely. Any relationship with the composer?
