Very busy on the feeders...... Goldfinch bonanza!

A Saturday morning off work today so after a quick visit to the barbers.(it's always quick...not much to deal with) I had my breakfast in the garden and enjoyed watching a young family of Goldfinches feeding on the sunflower hearts.

Goldfinch( carduelis carduelis)
I fill my feeders every few days but for a few weeks I haven't had much time to just sit and watch.
I had no plans for today so I decided to make time to do just that...relax and enjoy!

Dunnocks, House Sparrows, Blue,Great and Long-tailed Tits also made a visit and after the rant in my last post it was lovely to feel quite chilled.....
Blue Tit (Parus caeruleus)
I managed to capture some of the action on my camcorder.
I will add a little clip when I have put it together.
Sunday tomorrow...another day of relaxation....bliss!
