Tatton Park Fallow Deer..................................................... prettier the the Reds?

I have spent most of my break sharing images of the Red Deer at Tatton Park.
Tatton Park is also home to hundreds of Fallow Deer... in my opinion more pleasing on the eye.

In the past I have I have found them quite hard to get close to... but this stag was very obliging.

Worn out from the rut?

He even obliged me a video clip... silent because of the noise of aircraft overhead...
... landing at Manchester International Airport just a couple of miles away.

I live in deer country in California. We don;t get to see deer with the dots on their back - quite beautiful!

yes I am inclined to agree with you Andrew. The markings of that Deer in your fit shots is superb. Loved the video.

Beautiful colors on that stag and in the video he almost looks as if he knows how beautiful he is!
