Goldfinch............................................................ a splash of colour in the garden

A wonderful bird to see in the garden... and the most colourful.

Goldfinch on my garden feeder enjoying the sunflower hearts.

    Beautiful shot! - gold finches in your area are a bit more colorful than the ones around here. I've never seen that pretty red marking.

    You are getting published right and left .... and you deserve it. I love our goldfinch (in Oregon) but their British cousins are definitely more colorful! Beautiful backyard bird indeed!
