It's freezing!...............................................................................................................

Winter has arrived in Cheshire.
2014 was the warmest on record for the UK... it's hard to believe at the moment.

I am not posting as much as I would like as Mandy has bought a new house.
All our spare time is being taken up with the move.
Mandy's new front door takes less than a minute to walk to from mine... it's doubled our space.

Another exquisite capture Andrew. I so adore your shots of the precious Robin - thank you for sharing them (and your photographic skills). Hope all goes well with the house move and that you can manage to keep warm. (I'd happily send you some of our hot weather in exchange!)

Sounds like a good move but how will you notify your avian friends of your new address?.
Superb shot of your Robin, keep it in mind for the local pater's Christmas edition.

The winter birds become rather cuter when they puff themsevles up to reduce their surface area relative to volume! Reduces heat loss.

What a cute little robin. Last year we had no snow here either but it is different this year.

Moving is exhausting -- even if it is only across the street. Especially in freezing weather. Poor cold robin!
