The first National Trust property we visited at the weekend were the gardens at Bodnant nr Llandudno.
The house is still privately owned... so out of bounds to the public.
Close to the entrance is the Laburnum Arch.
It looks amazing in Spring... I have borrowed this image to show it in it's splendour.
Statues are randomly dotted around the gardens.
There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the surroundings.
Some people enjoy it more than others... "Come on Mandy it's time to move on"
The terraced gardens.
The Pin Mill.
A short walk from the formal gardens the path drops steeply down into a wooded valley.
The paths take you through the woodlands... home to some of the tallest trees in the UK
The views from the house and terraced gardens across the Conwy valley are stunning.
