Robin with white tail feathers............................................................................

I have a little Robin in the garden who is very feisty in defending his territory... it's fun to watch him.

He has a few white feathers which really makes him stand out (and easy to identify).
I captured this image this morning (Boxing Day) through the window...
...the first time I have seen him sitting still for over a week.

He is precious, Andrew. English robins are so sweet, all plump and round as chickadees.
I hope you had a lovely Christmas and I'm sending best wishes for good birding and good health in the new year.

How pretty is this?!!! A perfect image on such a perfect day. And the photo is taken through a window? Dang, the clarity is great.

Happy New Year Andrew

It almost looks like he rubbed up against some wet paint.
