This time tomorrow I will be recovering after my knee surgery........................

I am under the knife tomorrow... so hopefully my knees will be pain free pretty soon.

I hope I am not walking like this Black-winged Stilt when it's all over.

The surgeon says I will walk out of the hospital on Wednesday morning... but says I can't drive for five days.
So will I be walking still in pain?... time will tell.

I also hope my knees will still be bending the other way.

 A bit of info.
What you see and probably think are the Stilts knees are actually it's ankles... it's knees are hidden in it's feathers.

The last time I had an operation and was anesthetized I was only seven years old.
I hope it's another 50 years before the next time.

  28. After reading how your surgery came out before looking at these shots, I had a special appreciation for the bent knees of the birds...or do you call them knees. The last shot looks like he is going the jig. genie
