I have just had some lovely visitors to my garden this afternoon... a couple of Starlings.
I don't get them on my feeders often so it was great to see them.
This fella stayed around long enough for me to grab my camera... the shots were taken through the window.
Such a beautiful plumage when seen this close.
they really are remarkably colored. i like the 'hearts' on their chest feathers, too.

The do have some great iridescent colors, especially in sunlight! Over here they're very much a nuisance in many places. The population has exploded.
