Splish! Splash!.............................. my garden Blackbird enjoying the birdbath


Blackbird bathing in my garden... it looks like great fun



These images of the Blackbird were taken by a friend while she watched the birds in my garden.

She also captured a record shot of a Great Spotted Woodpecker as it made a brief visit... 
...I was out and missed it.
At least I now have proof of a bird I have only seen once in my garden... thanks to Mandy.

    These were sincerely amazing shots! The moment was really captured, and nothing can be better when it comes to photography. Do you always have bird visitors in your garden? You wouldn’t run out of interesting subjects then. :D You would have to keep the water fresh and clean for them to come back though, if not to keep the mosquitoes from breeding there.
