2012 images of my local river.......................................... on and off the water

I have spent a lot of time this year by my local river the Weaver and have also been lucky enough to have enjoyed a few trips with friends who have a lovely cruiser.
Here are just a few images from this year... it looks like I had better weather than I thought.

I will share some of the wildlife I have seen along the river this year soon.

The first one is perfection, beautiful light on the boat.

I love the shot of the half sunken boat- something very erie about it. Pretty river! We live right by a large lake and just bought a boat- looking forward to getting out there in the spring! Nothing like being on the water!

There is something about being out on the water...calming and relaxing. Your photos say it all!

These are such dreamy shots, Andrew. The last picture is out of this world. So beautiful. Wish you could see my little Christmas tree with all of its woolen British ornaments...Henry VIII and all of his wives, and lots of others. My collection is my treasure from all of my wonderful trips to your heavenly country. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas. genie
