Red Deer............................................................................ in Black and White

To take my mind off my leg and the depression I am feeling I have been playing with my pictures.
Here are some of the Red Deer images in black and white... quite striking I think.

Monarch of the Glen... (OK the Cheshire plain).

This Royal Stag was amazing to see so close to the road.

These images are just a few of my personal favourites... in colour or black and white.

If I get the chance to return during the next week or so to watch the rut I will jump at the chance.

  25. Wow, impressive photos!!! So so so so great!
    Deers are such beautiful animals.
The second last picture is funny, it seems to me like if the deer was sleeping on the grass and just wake up when noticing someone was around... (yeah, I make my imagination work).

I hope you are feeling better, Andrews. I don't know what happened to your leg, but I hope it's better and you are in a happier mood now.

    Kind regards from Barcelona.

  30. These are stunning photos of beautiful animals, but I wouldn't want to be too close to hormone fueled deer with those huge antlers. Be careful. Hope you have a really long lens.
