I had a lovely boat trip along a section of the River Weaver at the weekend and the weather was fantastic.
We saw quite a few birds during our journey... and some really brought a smile to my face.
The Moorhens made me laugh as we disturbed them... they really can run on the water.

They have really big feet, I guess that helps them run across the surface of the water. Great capture.
