I captured quite a few images of the birds I shared my biscuits with on my recent trip to Llandudno.
I hope nobody minds if I share a few more.
In had started out with the intention of getting some close ups of the Jackdaws I had spotted next to the car.
The car became by hide as I watched the greedy young Herring Gulls who were first on the scene...
...so greedy they even took biscuits from the hand.
I hope nobody minds if I share a few more.

The car became by hide as I watched the greedy young Herring Gulls who were first on the scene...
...so greedy they even took biscuits from the hand.
They were followed closely by the Ravens who soon saw them off...
...amazing birds to see... especially this close.
There wasn't much left for the gulls when they returned... much to their annoyance...
...and even less for my intended target...
...the Jackdaws.

Fantastic shots, Andrew! I love those ravens and their heavy bills! Vehicles make great hides (or blinds as we call them). I've used my vehicle many times to get close to birds and animals.
love the raven close-ups!
andrew, these are "amazing" shots. i love them all, the detail is superb. the first two are my favorites today. wow and wow again
I would LOVE to see a raven up close and personal like this. Now I have to go check to see if there are any in my neck of the woods. Probably not...that's why I really like having this bird photo sharing meme each weekend and WBW!!
