Sticky food on the feeders...............................................................................

At last some warm sunshine in the garden.
The warm weather made the fat balls I put out for the birds a bit soft.

Not a problem for my garden House Sparrows.

They have been gorging themselves all day.

This little youngster has mastered the splits to balance on a perch.

The juveniles were having fun... and glad the rain has passed for a while.

You are lucky getting good numbers of House Sparrows visiting your garden Andrew, I can`t remember the last time we had one in ours! A sign of the times I suppose.

Great to see Andrew.
I get a few in the garden, and the fat balls seem to be the favourite food.

Warm sunshine Andrew, what's that then?

Great shots of your House Sparrows having a feed. Those around here seem to have had a good breeding season as there are lots of newly fledged youngsters about at the moment (great to see).

Unfortunately, for my wallet that is, they seem to have taken a liking for the sunflower hearts over the fatballs!...[;o)

The fourth shot cracked me up! It looks like he's doing splits!

that first shot the bird looks so personable, i love the way he looks like he is FOCUSED on that food, with one foot up and one down, like let me at it.

Great shots of the House Sparrows Andrew! I especially liked the juvies. It sure looks like you could go broke putting out those suet balls the way they devour them!
