My fence is due to be replaced due to age and wind damage... but this little fella has been using a hole in it to enter and leave my garden... much to my amusement.
I have seen it darting in and out quite a few times and made a few attempts to capture the moment.
It took me three days to finally get one worth sharing.

Worth the wait!
ah ... very sweet
Perfect reason for not mending the fence! Your perseverancewas so worth it - charming picture!
Good moment for a great shot.
Greetings, Joop
I guess it's easier than flying over the fence. Lovely shot, Drew!
awww, to cute. smart little one. (:
really cute!
What a great visitor to have. Get a new fence and add the hole to it. Maybe make it a little bigger and paint a border around the hole. Problem solved. My husband would say "You're not putting a hole in my brand new fence." I would say "We used to buy new blue jeans in the 90's and add holes to them because they were cool so I'm doing it to the fence."
And a perfectly good excuse! :)
What a little cutey, great picture Andrew.
LOL! That's a great shot! Clever little bird. Maybe you could have an entrance built in to the new fence.
Hi Andrew... So well worth the wait to share this adorable precious shot...I loved it!!
