You may be aware I am attempting to digitize all the images from my parents old photo albums.

It's taking over my life at the moment...I just want everyone to know I am still popping in to view your blogs... commenting takes up time but I will try to as often as possible.

This is my Mum on the left who is now 81 years of age with her big sister Marion now 83.
They were both born and brought up in Glasgow, Scotland.

I hope to create a family photo album with as many pages as War and Peace.
My goal for now is to produce something a bit smaller to present to these two lovely girls.

Great picture. They were beautiful little girls! I am very fortunate to have a brother who did all the digital scanning for the family. I really appreciate it because I know it takes a very long time.

This is so precious. I have been making notecards from scanned family photos for gifts for years. This portrait is beautiful. Was it on one of the hard and dark cardboard framing with the name of the photographer in gold at the bottom right. That is the way mine were. Keep going . It is worth the effort. genie

Oh you are a lovely son Andrew, I bet your Mum and Aunty will adore this album. I should really start to do something similar, such a lovely record to keep.

What a pair of beautiful little girls. I love old pictures. Maybe some day I should do the same with my mother's and grandma's photos. I don't want to lose them.

My name is Mariona, really similar to Marion. :D
