I had reached Hartford Bridge about an hour or so into my walk.
Lot's of noise during this part of my walk along the river... traffic on the road bridge, light aircraft, pleasure boats plus the express trains crossing the railway viaduct...then roar of the river sluice by the locks.
Still images can be so peaceful to look at... it's the moving ones that create problems.
One sound broke through all the racket on my video... spring birds singing.
This is Part 2 of my walk.please scroll down to view Part 1 if you missed it.

It was wonderful to hear all the birds... and as I approached the railway viaduct I could hear woodpeckers drumming.... If you missed it rewind and listen... it's just before the train crosses the viaduct.
On the return journey I spotted a a rabbit feeding.
You can hear another noise that makes using the camcorder a bit frustrating at times...

Lovely video, Andrew!
Andrew and the second part is beautiful.
Greetings.
thanks for sharing your journey Drew and I did hear the woodpecker (before the train),and overall it was a video how it is where you were with those sound interjections of reality in the air. I wondered what the white bird with black head/face was; a waterbird I suspect ..
Enjoyable video Andrew.
Plenty of varied sounds, but the birdsong steals the show.
wow, all sort of sounds. nice. luv the waterfall. (:
The narrow boat stars in the video, and does the birds. Brilliant photos.
Great video Andrew!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Well done Andrew. I am uploading some video I took today at this very moment and have no idea what I have. Oh the mystery of movie making.
Ah background noise, the curse of any recorded audio. Great video though Andrew.
Thanks for this, looks like a very interesting walk.
Great video and what a wonderful way to share your corner of the world. I really really enjoy these!
Great video Andrew!
All the background noise makes it "real", train, cars... unless you are in a deep forest and nothing but nature around you, which I assume you weren't. :)
That is the best, best, best music of all! I did hear the woodpecker--don't you love that sound? But then, all the sounds of nature are glorious. Thank you for capturing them for us!
Thank you. The singing birds were wonderful!
That was a awesome video. I loved all the different sounds. The bridge for the train, what a lovely area. Even seeing the train passing by was cool! AND the rabbit, totally cool dude! Loved it all~
I enjoyed the post and the rabbit. The train was super fast. √
