Traffic light humour............................. and a great big thank you to Carole M

On my way to work on the 15th of February someone had put a stencil of a heart over the red light.
It was a St Valentines message for someones sweetheart...it's still there and makes me smile every morning.

Over this weekend someone had added one on the green light... a clover to celebrate St Patrick's day.
It's probably illegal but raises a smile from all the early morning commuters.
I apologize that the heart isn't a sharp image... it was taken through my windscreen.

And while I am on the subject of creative people.
Carole M of Carole's Creative Corner made me this wonderful little stamp album.

I made a recent post about my stamp collection... Carole picked up on it and made me this lovely album.
The images on the stamps are all mine... the ugly mug on the 46p stamp is me.

It's was so wonderful to see I just had to share it... many thanks Carole xx

  2. ;-))

There are several traffic lights on my way to work that now have smilies (green) and frownies (or whatever you call them!) for red. Probably illegal too but they make me smile too!

  14. It probably is illegal but it is grand. What to put on the amber? All I can think of is Nick Clegg and he would spoil the show.

  20. :) I'd missed this post completely Drew; firstly I really enjoyed the traffic light pics. Have never seen that happen here at all; who'd have thought?! Quite unique. And the album; when I saw your post on stamp-collecting I just had to do it, it was a lot of fun trolling your site for the images I chose to use. Thanks for sharing here!
