Lapwing........................... feeding during last years drought at Haydn's Pool

Lapwing..... Haydn's Pool.
This was taken last summer when Haydn's Pool was almost dry... I haven't been for a few weeks but a free weekend is approaching... fingers crossed for decent weather.

I am sat in front of my computer waiting for the first few minutes of my latest video clip to upload to YouTube.
It will probably take an hour or so... I really enjoy making my little films but it can be so frustrating at times.
And there's me boasting about my patience a couple of days ago..

Great shot, love the reflection!

I made a video yesterday of a Red-bellied Woodpecker digging out a nesting hole in a dead oak tree outback.
I was going to post it, but in the middle of the video a little bug kept bothering me, so you can hear me trying to blow it away, only for it to sting me, which made me jump and loose my subject, which made me say a curse word, which you can hear, but I recovered the subject and continued!! Whew! I would love to edit out the curse word, but I don't know how and although a few might get a good laugh from it, I don't want to offend anyone by posting it. Got any solutions?

Love the pic. I have a week off next week and am hoping for the same. When we have time, it's a lot more fun putting videos together:) The last one I put together was in November....good luck with your project:)
