On Golden Pond......................................................... Dunham Massey

I had a lovely walk at Dunham Massey yesterday... wonderful sunshine but very cold.
Today stormy winds a wreaking havoc across the UK...
My journey home from work has taken me over an hour longer than usual.

These images were taken on one of the ponds in the deer park.

Children were feeding the birds... and the Black-headed Gulls were making the most of it.

The sun shining on the water gave a lovely golden glow... much better than my images show.

  15. I have a city park nearby with a large lake that harbors the usual suspects to places like that. I never pay it much attention for everyone has seen tame geese and ducks before. But I can see now it is a good opportunity to improve one's photographic skills. Thanks for showing me that.

  22. Hi there - I had forgotten how red the feet of BHG's are!

Not as many different species of gull down here - which is a shame as I like them!

    Happy New Year!
