Marbury Country Park has two bird hides... one overlooking Budworth Mere and
the other is in the woods I filmed the little Robin feeding from my hand.
One post... three species.
Robin (Erithacus rubecula)
Nuthatch (Sitta europaea)
All taken on the same post on the same day.
This wonderful perch has unfortunately been removed a few months ago.
it sure was popular while it lasted! cute shots!
ReplyDeleteThese are just too beautiful for words!

What a lovely post, Andrew! Robin is so cute and I love squirrel!!
ReplyDeletehave a great weekend:)
I am really taken with the robin photographs each time I see them; the nuthatch is most interesting too of course. The squirrels appear much more diminutive than I'd visualized. Seeing them on a skinny post like this; they really must be petite. Beautiful photos again.
ReplyDeleteSweet subjects for photos...
ReplyDeleteI love the robin! Great shots!
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Louise from Canada
Great photos. Love them. Our Robins here in Canada fly south for the winter. I think they may be onto something!
ReplyDeleteWhat did they just take it away, it was harmless, oh why. Brilliant photos.
ReplyDeleteThe last photo was suberb. Congratulations :D

Thank you, my friend.
Great Robin Shots. I wonder why they moved the perch.
ReplyDeleteI have to smile; they are so lovely, all of them - on this stick!
ReplyDeleteThose robins are just ever so cute - pretty birds - we rarely see robins here.
ReplyDeletewhat lovely photos, it was obviously a very popular perch while it lasted.
ReplyDeleteI love your little newspaper under your little robin's wing, Andrew. And I love the blue spray of your grey squirrel's tail, and his snugness.
