Bird images of 2011..................................... the second half of the year

Birdfair 2011 was wonderful to visit during August... it was a lovely warm sunny day.

A bird ringing demonstration... and a  beautiful little Sedge Warbler.

September brought a wonderful moment...
A close up view of a beautiful Goshawk.
This was a captive bred bird being trained for falconry display and it's first lesson in open countryside.
I was out walking and just stumbled across it by chance.

Jackdaw in Llandudno during our heatwave at the end of September.
Plodding the pavements...

OK my favourite image from October wasn't a bird.
A beautiful Royal Red Deer Stag.

Pochard... Martin Mere seen during November.

Red Crested Pochard also at Martin Mere.

This beautiful female Pheasant completes my birding year.
I wish you all a wonderful 2012.
