Not quite true... as the seed was sown when my son created a blog to enable us to follow his trip around the World in 2009/10.
During early January in 2010 I was off work ( due to a very painful abscess) and during one of my better moments I decided to give blogging a try.

I created the site...added a few pictures then just forgot about it.
A year ago influenced by my visit to Birdfair I made my first posts.

Some of the original pictures are still to be found on my Wildlife Page.. I deleted what I thought was rubbish in the early days... I now wish I had left it alone.
