Treecreeper (Certhia familiaris)
I captured this lovely little Treecreeper in the same woods I got the clip of the Wren a few posts ago.
Kennel Woods is in the village of Sandiway where I spent my childhood.
Visits bring back some lovely memories...
Climbing trees, hide and seek, my first proper kiss (aged 10) lol.
I had heard the woods had been put on sale and that the local parish council were raising funds to buy them for the village so I was quite surprised to see a for sale sign on Kennel Lane.

A gate has been erected alongside which is a bit daft as you can pass either side of it.
I need to investigate to find out whats going on.

Great video and a cute video of the tree creeper creeping along.
Brilliant shots of the Treecreeper. Andrew, please let me know what is going on to the woods, I thought that the government said they wouldn't sell it off.
sorry to hear your childhood woods may be sold - i'm hoping not for development. sweet little tree creeper!
first proper kiss at 10. :) i think i was a bit older for mine - maybe 13.
There's nothing like happy childhood memories, Andrew. I hope Kennel Woods is retained so others can have similar experiences.
Hope it's not sold ... cute little tree creeper!
I hope a sale do not destroy your childhood memories. The Treecreeper i a beautiful little guy.
That's a lovely shot!
I only have a blurry featherball as proof that I've seen one ;)
Hope they don't ruin another piece of beautiful nature :(
Olá, amigo!
É uma imagem muito doce.
Espero que seu paraíso não esteja correndo nenhum risco...

Nothing good lasts forever, it's a shame! Cute climber bird.
What an elegant little bird. I do hope that the wood has been sold to someone suitable.
It is always so nice to see your birds! Let us hope you will be allowed to keep your memories alive!
