Grey Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis)
The Squirrels at the park in Chester are so used to being fed by visitors they expect everyone to have food.
This little guy even climbed up my leg to see what I had.....which to his disappointment was nothing.
I chanced upon a couple feeding the Squirrels and enjoyed a few moments with them.

    Lovely photos! The squirrels do like to visit our bird feeders, but are not tame enough to come near. Great that you got such wonderful close-ups...

    Hi Andrew ...finally ..what a mess this blogger upset has been!!
    I didn't even get the post before this one of the House Sparrow. It never showed up on my blog...saw it when I came on your site...love the one with on the feeder with its headed twisted looking down ...cute!!
    This one with the Squirrel is just to darn funny...I can't believe how friendly he is...
    I would not want it to climb up my leg though!!
    Good to be able to catch up with you again..hope the rest of the weekend is great ♥ .(your 5 hours ahead of me so yours is half over!!)

    There is a spot at our coast called Devil's Punchbowl, and the squirrels living in that park are just as fearless. There's a tiny hole-in-the-wall clam chowder restaurant right across the way, and the squirrels are fed crackers by passerby quite frequently. Probably not the best idea, but it's too late now. lol

    I have pictures of myself, kneeling down with a squirrel practically on my lap. lol
