I apologize to all my new friends on Wild Bird Wednesday for recycling an old post but as our UK weather has been so bad and my commute to work is currently leave home in the dark then return home in the dark....
cool series with a nice surprise to the end :-)
ReplyDeleteO what a wonderful post! (Pun there!) Amazing series of colours in one place!
ReplyDeleteNice series Andrew from a better day.
ReplyDeleteSame problem here ... mist, fog plus snow and everything in hiding. FAB.
Great series of great pics. You stayed at home and Boom & I spent the morning sitting in the snow trying to photograph birds on a favourite trail. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River.
ReplyDeleteAwesome shots and I see Mr. Squirrel made an appeaerance too-hope your weather improves.
ReplyDeleteI love them! Especially the nuthatch...he's very sleek. Your photos are always beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOldies but goodies Andrew.
ReplyDeleteA great posing perch.
Nice shots! It's hard to do any birding in the dark, I know exactly what you're talking about :)
ReplyDeleteLinking to old post is a privilege you earn over the long haul. Your just a rock star playing one of your early hits and a beautiful one at that!
ReplyDeleteWe have similar weather here. So many dark hours. Doesn't leave much time for birding.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great perch for photographing birds. Excellant shots, and aren't you glad we save pictures so we can bring up some of the best ones when we don't have time for new ones. Thanks for stopping by.
Becky
