Bittern at Budworth Mere...................Marbury CP



More snow overnight so I decided to go for a walk at Marbury as it's only a few minutes drive from where I live. I had only walked from the carpark down to the boathouse when I met a birder with his scope and asked if he had seen the reported Bittern. With a smile he said  "just have a look" and there it was showing really well. I only had my camcorder with me today but I managed to get a good record clip even though it was on the other side of the Mere.

    Cool - never seen a Bittern myself and see it moving for a change is very interesting. Thanks for sharing.
