Thirsty bees .................................................................. on the first day of Spring

The first day of Spring was a sunny one... 

...the bees in my garden quenching their thirst from the bird bath.

    What a great little movie! The bees here, fed up with grey cold skies, appear to have gone back to bed.

    I can't say I have ever seen bees drink water before. Interesting. They do go for the sugar/water in the hummingbird feeders though but that is understandable.
