Juvenile Blackbird in moult... born and bred in my garden.
It's been a good year for garden wildlife... I just haven't had much time to share it.
I have two weeks holiday coming up... and intend to make the most of it.

Very handsome youngster!
Very sweet shot Andrew. I think I may have to start feeding my birds again, I miss them :)
Great photo of the juvenile blackbird. Very nice to have them in your garden and to know that is one of "yours"!
Excellent picture of a bird I also love to see in my garden.
Nice one Andrew. I know how difficult it can be to get pictures of Blackbirds. They may be common but they are still shy.
Great photo of this juvenille - enjoy your holiday!
Very cute bird. Great capture.
I like his ruffled head, with just a hint of gape left. Be all growed up next year!
That is a true backyard bird -- born and bred!!
Such a sweet photo. It has to be wonderful to watch them hatched, fledged and grown!
It's really beautiful.
I wish you a beautiful holiday.

How very cool! We had birds born and bred. Cedar waxwings. They were a delight!
