I went into my garden earlier and got really close to this squirrel before he noticed me.

I said "Boo!" he freaked then just shot up the brickwork of my house.
I relented and took a pace back... he slowly climbed back down then scarpered.
They really are amazing creatures.

They've got a certain charm and endless ability Andrew...but they're a menace on the bird feeders!
I'm slowly 'training' mine to high tail it from the feeders as soon as I reach for my water pistol!!...[;o)

I have two that crash about in the trees on my shared driveway, jumping on the sehd roof with a thump. Trying to sneak up on one from the other side of a tree to get a mobile phone pic is good sport!

Cute! I saw three squirrels chasing each other up and down a tree yesterday. They're so much fun to watch.
