Juvenile swans preening.
A swan? Me a swan? Ah go on!
Beautiful birds to see... ugly ducklings they are not.

what a very cool shot.
Wow, that's an amazing shot! How interesting that these two birds do exactly the same thing at the same time! Very cool!
Marvellous shot.
When I was a child, on Saturday morning's we listened to the radio and that was the lovely song they played at that time a lot. Now that brings back memories. This shot is like synronised preening.
I can't tell if they are brownish or just muddy. How funny that they are copying each other. I always admire how their wings make such majectic ridges on their backs.
Looking forward to seeing some cygnets this year. One of the cutest chicks.
Always a joy to see Andrew.
Wonderful photo!
Nice one Andrew. It won't be long before they look like their parents.
I do love seeing the swans, great shot!
Wouldn't you love to be able to contort like that. These are great shots, Andrew and I agree, there is nothing ugly about the young swans.

Not ugly at all. They are adorable!
Wonderful capture of these two preeners.
It's almost like there is a mirror there. Lovely shot.
Great post and shot Andrew! The twists and turns swans get themselves into when preening is fascinating :D)
This is a wonderful Andrew.
Synchronised preening. A Beautiful picture.
