These images were captured back in October during the Red Deer rut.
We watched this stag as he honed his antlers... preparing for the rut.
Mandy checking out the same branch a few minutes later... stripped of it's bark.
Getting so close to nature is wonderful... just look at that face.

ReplyDeleteFabulous shot...no red deer anywhere near me. Few roe deer in my local urban nature reserve, and supposedly munyjacs have been spotted in the town park...
