2015's garden bird count has started well.............................................................

It's very cold here today.
I struggled to open the car doors this morning... they were frozen shut.

I have had a good start to the year though in terms of garden birds.
Robin is one of my regulars...

 ...always a welcome visitor.
This morning a pair of Bullfinches took this years total to 12 species.
Not a bad start to the year.

A beautiful specimen and those legs are so tiny and fragile.

So cute! The robin is always a favorite. My car was completely snowed over and frozen today. The temp was down to -10 C again.

Your shots of Robins delight me every time Andrew! Thank you for sharing. (although I enjoy cold weather - we're currently enduring high 30s and 40s Celcius - can't imagine the car door freezing shut!!) Happy New Year.
