I have literally just walked through the door half an hour ago after a wonderful day at the Cheshire Show.
Just a few images to give a flavour of the day... I hope to share more over the next few days.
There was so much to see... including a Falconry Display.
The chainsaw wood carving was amazing to watch...
... and some of the beasts in the cattle show were massive.
More to follow... but it's back to work in the morning.

The owl is gorgeous! I'd love to watch the chainsaw carving!
That is one Big Beast!
Beautiful Owl ... do you know what kind it is? It is not like the owls around here. I love this post ... you covered a lot of territory and I look forward to more to come :) I had a cousin who did the chainsaw carving ... never could understand how he did it, but it is definately an impressive art form. Thanks, Andrew ...

That owl is fabulous....but I must admit that hunk of beef is HUGE/Massive!!

What a beautiful capture of the owl. The county fair looks like a lot of fun.
I'm SOOO glad you finally took time off to go to this, Andrew. Wow, that's one massive animal! :-) The owl is wonderful! We see chainsaw carvers here mostly in the Appalachians. Great post but it left me wanting more! :-)
