I have had this Magpie feeding in my garden for the past couple of weeks...
... it's a bird species I have always struggled to get close to.
...but this one's been getting braver every day.
Magpies are are easily spooked... the sight of me in the house is usually enough to make them disappear.
Meal Worms are this fellas food of choice...
...just a few scattered on the ground have been enough to tempt it in.
This is the closest I have had it to the house... just a few feet from my patio window.
That is a beautiful bird.
