It's bitterly cold with a biting wind and snow so I haven't even ventured outside this morning.
Robin in the snow.
The last thing I need is to slip over with my knees the way they are at the moment...

...still a bit sore but walking on the flat is getting more comfortable day by day.
Greenfinch.
I took all these shots through the patio window this morning as it was far too cold to open the doors.
Somebody new the doors were locked and didn't waste any time to take advantage of the situation.
Fingers crossed for better weather next weekend.

OOPS! who's that in the bird feeder? a new specie of bird? great shots of the birds
pretty greenfinch! love the squirrel, too.
no snow here but we're going to dip below freezing tonight and tomorrow night - one more time.
Nice shots! I love the last photo of the squirrel!
I was shoveling a spoonful of steel cut oats as I came to the squirrel shots. It was like looking in the mirror. The birdies are lovely too - gotta love that Robin :)
Glad you are being very careful. No, you certainly do not need a fall, after all you have been through in healing. The Robin is gorgeous and your Finch as well. Love the little Squirrel chap too;')~
Even through the window, the shots are great!
Great close ups!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Love the Robin, superb.
I'm so glad you have your great window view because definitely you don't need to slip and fall on the ice -- winter just doesn't want to leave this year does it? (Up North here in the US it is much the same.)
Wiewiórka udaje ptaszka, ale ona też chce jeść. Dziękuję za rudzika. Dobrze, że Twoje kolana są coraz sprawniejsze. Pozdrawiam.
Squirrel goes bird, but she also wants to eat. Thank you for the robin. It's good that your knees are getting more efficient. Yours.
Excellent photos!
HA! I see you have a sneaky little devil in that feeder!
Pretty BIRDS!!! And the squirrel...how precious they are, and so fun to watch. That last image of the closeup of the furry one is so darling. [can a squirrel be darling? Your PHOTO sure is]
Your robins are so sweet and a bit different from ours. The greenfinch is quite lovely and a new one for me. Visiting from OWT.
Let's hope the weather starts to warm up soon so we can all go out and about again in relative comfort. Trust the squirrel to take advantage of no-one around to chase him away.
That furry rascal looks really cosy in the bird table. You need to get some snowballs ready. From Findlay
The robin in the snow is especially beautiful.
The greenfinch is a pretty bird, and that squirrel is so cute, you must have to buy a lot of bird feed. Great shots.
HI Andrew...Lovely photo even through the window, hope those knees get better soon!
The squirrel is comical ..as long as he is in your feeder not mine ; )
Gracexx
beautiful snapshots through the glass Drew. Weather is so fickle; up to 33 degrees of recent (I've been away and bush-walking in it) and it's supposed to be Autumn. Yours is other way around; guess it will all level out sometime soon
Great photos and a very nice blog.
The Robin and Greenfinch are beautiful yardbirds. I have plenty of the bushy tailed rats here, they can be so annoying. Great shots!
Lovely little birds! Cute squirrel too!
Love how you were able to get the little squirrels thumbs in that last shot. I love squirrels.
Glad to hear you are continuing to improve. Probably wise to stay in and not risk a fall.
Wonderful shots Andrew!
Watch those knees mate.... When will the spring start???? Garden birding is cool though so keep the camera rolling
Dave
I do like that green finch - such a solid looking bird.
Keep your knees warm!
Cheers and thanks for lining to WBW - Stewart M - Melbourne
Wonderful images! What a great view you have through your window!
The Greenfinch would be a new one for me.
Thank you for sharing.
Naughty little tree rat! Love the birds. You take it easy on those knees mate!
