Autumn is slowly arriving............................................ along the River Weaver

Most of my local trees are still green at the moment so during a lovely boat trip yesterday it was lovely to see the banks of my local river the Weaver at Acton Bridge looking quite autumnal.

The image was captured on my little point and shoot and despite the grey skies it was a warm sunny afternoon.

I wasn't going to do a post tonight but I wanted to share the story of young Findlay Wilde a local lad who lives a just few miles up river from Acton Bridge and has just had his story of his love of wildlife told in our local glossy magazine "Cheshire Life" (it's a bit posh).

I have met Findlay a couple of times and his enthusiasm is infectious... I have added a link to his blog: http://wildeaboutbirds.blogspot.co.uk/

Thank you so much for all the support you have shown Findlay, he's desperate to see you again. He left for Grandma's earlier this evening, but he will be delighted with your post when he gets home. Xxxx
