My little garden Robin.................................................. is getting his new coat

Remember me?

I am the little baby Robin that lives in Andrews garden.

This is what I looked like in July.

Here I am looking around the garden with my Mum just a few weeks ago...

...and this was me today when Andrew managed to get a picture through his window.

I am beginning to get my new coat...

...and it won't be long before I look like this.

A sweet little bird and nice to see the before and after. I had an American in my garden today trying to get fed by mum or dad. They weren't having anything to do with him, they were trying to tell him it was time to fend for himself I guess.

I'm surprised to see that a young Robin is a mottled yellow. Cute little guy. Soon he will Look just like the parents.

How wonderful to be able to watch them grow and develop. We only get Robins in the spring. They fly in great flocks and cover our yards feeding and then in a week they are off again.
